Report: Bucs release defensive end Da'Quan Bowers

It seems as though Da'Quan Bowers' time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has come to an end. While the team chose to bring back Bowers on a one-year deal this offseason and move him over to defensive tackle, things apparently just didn't work out.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the Bucs have waived Bowers.

It's not a massive surprise, but Bowers at least put forth a strong effort when it came to trying to earn a roster spot during Thursday's final preseason game.
