Ponikarovsky, Hurricanes double up Flyers

Alexei Ponikarovsky had two goals and an 2, at Wells Fargo Center.

Chad LaRose scored a goal and added two assists while Jeff Skinner also lit the lamp for the Hurricanes, who have won two straight on the heels of a three-game slide. Cam Ward stopped 30 shots in the win.

James van Riemsdyk had a goal and an assist while Matt Read scored a goal for the fifth straight game for the Flyers, who have dropped their past two. Ilya Bryzgalov was tagged for all four goals on 31 shots.
