Pepe to miss Galatasaray contest

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will be without defender Pepe for the second leg of his team's Champions League quarterfinal against Galatasaray on Tuesday because of a muscle injury.

Pepe reportedly sustained the injury in training, and his absence will leave Mourinho without the Portugal international as well as fellow defender Sergio Ramos, who picked up a first-leg yellow card.

Mourinho also figures to rest midfielder Xabi Alonso, who also was booked in the first leg in Madrid, which was won 3-0 by the Spanish side.
