Orioles' Cabrera activated from DL

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles activated infielder Everth Cabrera from the 15-day disabled list prior to Friday's series opener against the Miami Marlins.

Cabrera landed on the DL after suffering a bruised left foot when hit by a pitch on May 6.

The 2013 All-Star was batting .205 with four RBI in 23 games this season, his first with the Orioles after playing his previous six with the Padres.

In a corresponding move, Baltimore optioned infielder Rey Navarro to Triple-A Norfolk.
