Brittney Griner recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks to lead No. 1 Baylor to an 80-49 rout over West Virginia on Saturday.

Griner shot 11-of-17 from the field for the Lady Bears (28-1, 17-0 Big 12), who have won 26 straight games. Odyssey Sims scored 10 points and grabbed five boards in the victory.

Christal Caldwell scored 14 points for the Mountaineers (17-11, 9-8), who had a three-game winning streak snapped. No other West Virginia player scored in double-digits.

West Virginia tied its lowest point total of the season and was limited to 2.5 percent shooting from the field, despite attempting 21 more field goals than Baylor.

Baylor opened up the game on a 14-0 run over the first 5 1/2 minutes and didn't let up the entire game. By halftime, the Lady Bears led 38-22.

West Virginia would not be deterred, though. Caldwell started and finished a 12-4 run that got the Mountaineers within eight, 42-34, with 17:26 remaining.

However, that's as close as West Virginia got.

Griner fired a jumper to start a 15-3 run and the Lady Bears were ahead by a 57-37 score with 12:27 left in regulation.

Griner got her triple-double when she grabbed an offensive rebound with 5:22 remaining and followed that with a layup to give Baylor a 70-44 advantage.
