NAU's Kris Yanku named to preseason All-Big Sky team

OGDEN, Utah -- Northern Arizona junior guard Kris Yanku was selected to the All-Big Sky Conference preseason team for the upcoming men's basketball season, the league office announced.

Yanku earned all-conference honors last season as a sophomore while averaging 13.8 points and 5.1 assists per game and leading the nation in free throws mdae (230).

He's joined on the preseason all-conference team by Eastern Washington senior forward Venky Jois and sophomore forward Bogdan Bliznyuk, Montana senior forward Martin Breunig, Montana State senior guard Marcus Colbert and Weber State senior forward Joel Bolomboy and junior guard Jeremy Senglin.
