The New York Knicks have signed forward Kenyon Martin to a second 10-day contract.
Martin has appeared in just one game since first joining the Knicks last month.
Before signing with New York, 35-year-old veteran had not landed a job this season after playing 42 games for the Los Angeles Clippers last season. He averaged career lows of 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds during the shortened 2011-12 campaign.
Martin, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2000 NBA Draft and a 12-year veteran, was an All-Star with the Nets in 2003-04 and has averaged 13.0 points and 7.1 rebounds over 697 career games with New Jersey, Denver, the Clippers and Knicks.
