The Kentucky Wildcats' fan who got a tattoo predicting a 2014 NCAA basketball championship win told ESPN.com his tattoo isn't going anywhere.
Tyler Austin Black, 22, who got the ink before the tournament began on his calf, reportedly said, "It's a way to remember this team and it's a part of my life story."
The Kentucky blue tattoo reads, “2014 Nati9nal Champions.”
The Huskies defeated the Wildcats 60-54 Monday in Arlington, Texas for the team's fourth national championship.
Black has achieved some celebrity after the tattoo. He reportedly paid $80 for the tattoo and got the work before the tournament. He got the tattoo when the team was unranked.
FoxSports.com reported that Black landed free tickets to the championship game.
