Injured Bengals S Sands arrested

Cincinnati Bengals safety Robert Sands was arrested Friday morning after allegeldy assualting his wife, according to a report from WKRC Cincinnati.

According to the report, Sands was charged with assualt and domestic violence following the incident at his home Friday morning.

Sands, the Bengals' fifth round selection in 2011 out of West Virginia, spent the entire 2012 season on injured reserve following surgery in August for a chest injury.
