Guilford's Pawlowski passes for 611 yards, 7 TDs

WASHINGTON (AP) Guilford's Matt Pawlowski passed for 611 yards and seven touchdowns in the Quakers' 52-49 victory over Catholic on Saturday.

Pawlowski broke school and Old Dominion Athletic Conference records with the 611 yards, the ninth-highest total in NCAA Division III history. He had 648 yards of total offensive yards, the fifth-best mark in Division III.

The senior completed 37 of 63 attempts, had one interception and matched his career high with the seven TDs. Chad Christopher had eight receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and Adam Smith had 11 catches for 141 yards and three scores for Guilford (7-1, 4-1).

T.J. Tutone completed 39 of 54 passes for 394 yards and five scores for Catholic (3-5, 1-4). He also ran for 59 yards and a touchdown.
