Saturday's grass-court final at the $235,000 Topshelf Open will pit fourth-seeded Belgian Kirsten Flipkens against red-hot Romanian Simon Halep.

Halep posted 6-3, 6-2 upset victory over third-seeded Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro, while Flipkens booked her spot in the final with a 6-3, 6-1 pasting of Spanish qualifier Garbine Muguruza on Day 6 at Autotron Rosmalen.

The 27-year-old Flipkens will appear in her second career WTA final, seeking a second title. Her lone tour championship came in Quebec City last season.

The 21-year-old Halep is fresh off her first-ever WTA title in Germany last week and 1-3 in her career finals overall.

"I played a lot of good matches with good players in Rome, and after that tournament I felt more and more confident," Halep said. "I've been feeling very good about everything, not just mentally, but also physically. I've been believing in my game a lot and playing more aggressively, and that's all."

Halep is 2-0 lifetime against Flipkens and this will mark their first meeting on grass.

The winner of this final Wimbledon tune-up will collect $43,000.
