Demic, Elorriaga are potent scoring combination for Boise State in 72-63 win over Fresno State

Anthony Demic scored 28 points and Jeff Elorriaga added 20 on Saturday night as Boise State defeated Fresno State 72-63.

Demic helped Boise State (18-8, 6-6 Mountain West) by sinking 12 of 15 free throws. Elorriaga was 6 of 10 from 3-point range.

Derrick Marks added seven assists.

Fresno State (9-17, 3-10) led briefly in the first half, but could not get much consistent play after that.

Allen Huddleston scored 21 points to lead the Bulldogs. Tyler Johnson scored 15 points, and Kevin Olekaibe and Marvelle Harris had 10.

Boise State had a 33-26 rebounding advantage, but committed 13 turnovers.
