Angels activate INF Callaspo from DL

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated infielder Alberto Callaspo from the 15-day disabled list Friday and optioned infielder Andrew Romine to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Callaspo hit .273 with one home run and three RBI over nine games before exiting an 8-1 loss to Oakland on April 11 with a strained right calf.

Romine was on the Angels' Opening Day roster this season, but batted just .130 with one RBI in 16 games.
