21-year old prospect "Super" Sage Northcutt is finally ready to make his return to action as he faces former "Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" finalist Claudio Puelles at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim.

UFC officials announced the new pairing late Wednesday night.

Northcutt (8-2) joined the UFC after first being discovered by UFC president Dana White on his reality series "Lookin' for a Fight" before joining the promotion in 2015.

While his career in the UFC started out with a couple of impressive wins, Northcutt hasn't found the same success in his most recent bouts while suffering submission losses to both Mickey Gall and Bryan Barberena.

The good news for Northcutt is both of those fights took place at welterweight, which is not his natural division so he's returning to 155 pounds for his next bout in the UFC. Northcutt hasn't fought since last December due to having his tonsils removed just recently but now he's ready to resume his career when he fights in July.

Puelles (7-2) was touted as a potential star during his stint on "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" but he came up short in the finale when he fell to Martin Bravo last November in Mexico.

Now the 21-year old Peruvian fighter will look to get back on track while facing another prospect in Northcutt in July.

Northcutt vs. Puelles is the latest fight added to the growing UFC 2014 card headlined by light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier taking on Jon Jones in the main event.
