LOS ANGELES (AP) Li'Angelo Ball has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at UCLA next season, along with fellow high school seniors Jaylen Hands, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley.

The school announced the signings Wednesday on the first day of the early signing period.

Ball, Hands, Hill and Riley will enroll as freshmen for the 2017-18 academic year. All four are from Southern California.

Ball's brother Lonzo is a freshman on the Bruins this season.

Li'Angelo Ball plays at Chino Hills High; Hands at Foothills Christian High in El Cajon, near San Diego; Hill at Centennial High in Corona; and Riley at Sierra Canyon High in Chatsworth.

Ball, a 6-foot-6, 240-pound guard, led his undefeated high school team in scoring last season at 27.4 points per game.

Hands, a 6-3 guard, was MVP of this summer's Adidas Nations tournament.

Riley, a 6-8, 240-pound forward, is a three-time CIF Southern Section Division V John Wooden Award winner as player of the year. Last season, Riley led Sierra Canyon to a 26-5 record, averaging 12.5 points and 7.9 rebounds.

Hill, a 6-8, 220-pound forward, played alongside current UCLA freshman Ike Anigbogu last season at Centennial High, averaging 13.3 points and 8.8 rebounds.
