Mets' Cespedes not in starting lineup against Phillies

PHILADELPHIA (AP) New York Mets All-Star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was not in the starting lineup Friday night against the Philadelphia Phillies due to a right quad strain.

Cespedes missed the final two games before the break and didn't play in Tuesday's All-Star game because of the injury.

Manager Terry Collins said Cespedes is day to day, and was available to pinch-hit on Friday.
