CLEVELAND ROCKS

The Indians will try to tie a franchise record by winning their 13th straight when they head to Toronto. Cleveland has twice won 13 consecutive games, in 1942 and 1951, and they haven't lost since June 15 - near the end of the NBA Finals, which was won by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Carlos Carrasco (3-2, 2.73) is on the hill after shutting out the Tigers his last time out, and the Blue Jays will counter with R.A. Dickey (5-8, 4.23).

SUPPORT NEEDED

The Giants haven't been giving ace Madison Bumgarner (8-4, 1.99) much help lately, something Bumgarner will try to fix himself when San Francisco closes out a four-game Bay Bridge Series in Oakland. Bumgarner has a 2.22 ERA over his past four starts, but the Giants have averaged just 1.75 runs in those games. Manager Bruce Bochy said he will forego using a designated hitter in the AL ballpark, letting Bumgarner bat for himself.

GOING DEEP

Winners of seven straight, Mark Trumbo and the AL East-leading Orioles take a swing at the major league mark for home runs in June when they visit Seattle. With one game left this month, Baltimore has gone deep 55 times - tying a record held by the 1996 Oakland A's. Trumbo leads the majors with 23 homers this season, and the O's rank first with 124. Chris Tillman (10-1) tries to extend the winning streak.

REMATCH

Anthony Rizzo and the major league-leading Cubs begin a four-game series in New York against the Mets, who swept Chicago in the NL Championship Series last October after losing all seven regular-season meetings. John Lackey (7-4, 3.29 ERA) starts for the Cubs, coming off his worst outing of the season. Steven Matz (7-3, 3.29) goes for the Mets after his turn was pushed back a day because of a bone spur in his left elbow.

READY OR NOT

Braves right-hander Mike Foltynewicz (sore right elbow) is expected to come off the 15-day disabled list and pitch against Miami instead of making a second scheduled rehab start for Triple-A Gwinnett. Foltynewicz allowed one hit in five scoreless innings Saturday for Gwinnett. Atlanta's rotation is thin after rookie John Gant went on the disabled list Tuesday and struggling right-hander Aaron Blair was sent back to Gwinnett on Saturday. Julio Teheran's turn was bumped back a day to Friday to give him extra rest.
