Pitching prospect J.T. Chargois will represent the Minnesota Twins at the 2016 All-Star Futures Game on Sunday, July 10.

A second-round pick of the Twins out of Rice University in 2012, Chargois returned following Tommy John surgery and has a career 2.42 ERA in the minors through 89 games.

Chargois started the 2016 season with the Double-A Chatanooga Lookouts, registering a 1.54 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings of work, before being promoted to Triple-A.

The 25 year old leads the Rochester Red Wings with a 0.89 ERA through 20 1/3 innings of work and has 26 strikeouts.

The game will pit a team of U.S. prospects against the "world" team.

The rosters were selected by Baseball America with input from MLB and all 30 teams.
