INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Now Paul George has his own cover story.

Less than two years after snapping his right leg in a Team USA scrimmage, the manufacturer of NBA 2K17 announced Wednesday that the Indiana Pacers' three-time All-Star will appear on the cover of the popular video game.

Last year, George was on the cover of the game's mobile companion app. He also served as a guest commentator at the NBA 2K16 Road to the Finals $250,000 championship Wednesday.

But after a better-than-expected return from his broken right leg and nearly leading Indiana into the Eastern Conference semifinals this past season, the company rewarded one of the game's biggest fans by choosing George for the cover.

George called it ''fulfilling'' and hopes will lead to an even better season in 2016-17.
