Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, Neymar's up to something!

Nike has increasingly placed more stock in Neymar's rising global status, and with the worlds of basketball and soccer crossing paths more and more frequently, it looks as if they're making moves to cash in that intersection.

Neymar has made no secret of his hoops love over the years, and his obsession with the game is well documented. He first posted an Instagram alongside his idol Michael Jordan in 2015, rocking a Jumpman hat and sparking rumors that there could be a Jordan Brand collaboration in the works.

While primarily a basketball brand, this wouldn't be the first time that Jordan has done collaborations with outsiders, having done special edition lines with rappers Drake, Eminem, and a number of other entertainers. With Neymar, the brand is set to dip their toes into the soccer world for the very first time.

A Neymar sneaker was first rumored to be on the way, and Sole Collector reports that a special edition Air Jordan 5 Low will release in June of 2016.

Neymar will also get his own version of the Hypervenom Phantom 2 to rock on-pitch as well. According to leaked photos, for Jordan Brand's first ever foray into soccer boots, the Brazilian will sport the famous grey "cement" pattern, hearkening back to 1989's iconic Air Jordan IV design.

With collectors edition boots following basketball sneakers and becoming more and more common, this surely won't be the last offering we see from Neymar and Jordan Brand, and it will be interesting to see what brands and players follow suit.
