The legacy of Art Briles the coach is brilliant tactician, game-planner, play-caller, miracle-worker. Full legacy of Briles more complex.

I would think an NFL team would want to hire Art Briles to consult if he's not considered too toxic. Offensive genius.

.@ColinCowherd: Art Briles cover up is scary reality of college football powers in small towns. #HerdHerehttps://t.co/iqU6YU78sl

So Kenneth Starr & Art Briles are gone - what happens to the PD who did nothing about the REPORTED felony assaults? https://t.co/rSxNJOaMY8

Art Briles is still the best coach in that conference and still the best coach in Texas. He won't be unemployed long.

Art Briles was rightfully fired, but in all honesty, hold the perpetrators more accountable.

Ppl like the cliche "it's not the crime, it's the cover-up," but in the case of #Baylor, let's not forget the crimes were awful & heinous.

— Bruce Feldman (@BruceFeldmanCFB) May 26, 2016

Baylor won 11 Big 12 games in the 12 seasons before Briles arrived. Naive to think anyone could step in and maintain his level of success.
