Fresh off signing a brand new eight fight contract with the UFC, Matt Brown will return to action at UFC 201 where he faces Jake Ellenberger in Atlanta.

UFC officials confirmed the fight on Thursday.

Brown will look to get back in the win column when he fights on July 30 following a submission loss to Demian Maia at UFC 198.

Brown has gone 8-3 over his last 11 fights with his only losses coming to Maia, former champion Johny Hendricks and current champ Robbie Lawler.

Facing Brown in July will be veteran welterweight Jake Ellenberger, who looks to climb back up the ladder after a disappointing 1-5 run over his last six fights.

Ellenberger has faced a ton of adversity in his recent fights including back-to-back-losses to Tarec Saffiedine and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson.

Now Ellenberger will face the No. 8 ranked welterweight in the world at Philips Arena in Atlanta on July 30.

The main event for the UFC 201 card will pit welterweight champion Robbie Lawler against Tyron Woodley while Demetrious Johnson faces Wilson Reis in the co-main event with the flyweight title up for grabs.
