LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky forward Marcus Lee will transfer after withdrawing from the NBA draft, while guard Isaiah Briscoe plans to return for his sophomore season with the Wildcats.

Wildcats coach John Calipari said in a release Wednesday that the 6-foot-9 junior wants to transfer to a school out west to be closer to his family. Lee participated in the NBA draft combine but was given an outside chance at being selected. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining and says, "I'm trying to do what's right for me and my family."

Lee averaged 6.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks last season.

Briscoe announced on his Twitter account that he is returning to Kentucky after averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last season. The 6-3 freshman didn't participate in the combine but worked out for several teams to gauge his prospects.
