Bryce Harper's latest attempt to make baseball fun again is an emoji.

The Washington Nationals' 23-year-old slugger is sitting on 99 career homers, so his bats now feature a sticker of his favorite emoji -- the number 100.

There's a double meaning to the emoji, as it signifies both the upcoming homer milestone and the message to keep it 100/keep it real.

While many will consider it pretty clever, it remains to be seen whether Major League Baseball will agree -- or whether Harper will face a fine for the decals.

In any case, Harper's sticker is nowhere near as controversial as the infamous message written on the bottom of the knob of Billy Ripken's bat on his 1999 Fleer baseball card.
