TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) The University of Alabama is throwing a party to celebrate its fourth national football championship in seven years.

The school planned a parade through campus and a ceremony on the steps of Bryant-Denny Stadium for Saturday morning.

The weather forecast called for cloudy skies, brisk winds and temperatures in the 30s. The officials were still ready for a big crowd, with 10,000 championship posters and other items for fans.

Heisman Trophy winning running back Derrick Henry and other players will be on hand along with coach Nick Saban and his staff. Henry tweeted that he hopes to see lots of fans at the event.

Alabama won the title earlier this month with a 45-40 win over Clemson in Glendale, Arizona.
