Lee Westwood will narrowly get into the top 50 in the world at the end of the year and qualify for the Masters.

Westwood tied for second in the Thailand Golf Championship two weeks ago. He is No. 51 this week, but he will move up one spot to No. 50 when the final ranking of 2015 is published. Chris Kirk will fall to No. 51, but he already was eligible from his victory this year at Colonial.

The top 50 at the end of the year get are eligible for the Masters.

Fifteen players will be added to the Masters field through the world ranking. That brings to 89 the number of eligible players expected to play. At the end of last year, 90 players already were eligible.
