Can Miles keep his team focused ahead of a big game? Derick E. Hingle USA TODAY Sports

The pressure-cooker that is coaching in the SEC seemingly never ends. Expectations are sky-high, and there's an insatiable desire from the respective fan bases to win at a high level.

LSU head coach Les Miles is the latest dealing with these pressures. With a recent report stating Miles' job could potentially be on the line, it will be fascinating to see what transpires throughout the week in Baton Rouge.

Miles likely will have to address this claim at some point on Wednesday. Dually, how will the team respond to the news? LSU can't win the SEC West Division -- but an appearance in a big bowl game certainly isn't out of the question. Since losing the last two contests, the stress (and distraction level) surrounding the team figures to be increased even further.

It will be up to Miles and his staff to assuage any concerns internally -- whilst also preparing the team to face a quality Ole Miss squad this weekend on the road.
