Jimmie Johnson's No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet will start Sunday's race at Phoenix International Raceway from the pole after earning the top spot in Friday's qualifying session.

The field is set for Sunday's Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 at Phoenix International Raceway, and Jimmie Johnson is letting the Chase field know he still has a fast No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.

Coming off last weekend's win at Texas Motor Speedway, Johnson posted the fastest time of Friday's qualifying session, earning his third pole at the one-mile track.

Chase driver Kurt Busch was second, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Larson, Erik Jones, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne and Kyle Busch. Martinsville winner Jeff Gordon will start Sunday's race from the 11th spot.

The Team Penske's Joey Logano (14th) and Brad Keselowski (18th) were the only Chase drivers outside the top 11.
