The Eliminator Round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup kicks off this weekend during the Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway. After a wild and controversial Contender Round of the Chase, eight drivers take their title fight to the 0.53-mile short track for this weekend's race.

There are a total of 43 cars on the weekend's preliminary entry list, meaning there will be no cars failing to make the race. Kyle Fowler will make his second career Sprint Cup Series, piloting the No. 32 Go Green Racing Ford. Fowler made his Sprint Cup debut during this event last season, finishing 28th.

Ryan Preece, the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion, will also be making his second career Sprint Cup start, driving the Mike Curb-owned No, 98 Ford. Preece made his debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, finishing 32nd.

In addition, David Gilliland's No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford will pay tribute to modified legend Jerry Cook, who will be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Jan. 22, 2016.
