Members of Arizona State University's Alpha Chi Omega sorority are taking the spotlight from their Wednesday night baseball game selfie session and shining it on a local non-profit organization that supports victims of domestic violence.

The Buzzer is among a few dozen scores of outlets that covered what we are all kind of surprised became a viral video.

Here's what the ladies wrote on their Facebook page following the flood of attention they received after the video circulated (if the message isn't appearing for you, try reloading or logging in to your personal account):

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

It's a little bit ironic that a media event spawned from "selfies" is concluding with a selfless act.
