The Boston Celtics were widely criticized for selecting Louisville point guard Terry Rozier with the 16th overall pick in last year's draft. At the time, they already had Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley onboard, with serious holes on the wing and in the frontcourt.

But Rozier's stock has steadily climbed since that night. First, he impressed at Las Vegas Summer League and showed off his blazing speed, defensive instincts and clutch shot-making ability.

Now, at his first training camp, Rozier is apparently earning the respect of a few Celtic veterans.

At this time of year, take just about every positive thing a GM, coach or player says with a grain of salt. Everyone is ready to conquer the world right now.

But it's also nice to hear some positivity about a draft pick that shocked most of the NBA universe when it was first announced.
