Former LSU offensive lineman Alan Faneca was recognized as the Tigers' sole member of the 2015 SEC Football Legends Class.

Faneca was a dominating force in the SEC during his time in Baton Rouge. He was a first-team All-American as a junior in 1997. He allowed only one sack during his senior season, and helped to pave the way for LSU to lead the conference in rushing in back-to-back seasons (1996-97).

Faneca then played 12 years in the NFL, primarily with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a nine-time Pro Bowler and a six-time First-Team All-Pro. Faneca also was able to win a Super Bowl with the Steelers in 2006.

Without question, he will go down as one of the best offensive linemen to ever come out of LSU.
