Kevin Harvick dominated Sunday's Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but in the end it was Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt Kenseth that had enough fuel to last to the checkers and score the all-important win.
Kenseth's fifth victory of the season also punched his ticket into the Contender Round of the Chase, which kicks off in two weeks at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards rounded out the top five.
After running out of fuel late in the going, Harvick slipped to 21st and will need to win next weekend's race at Dover International Speedway in order to advance to the next round of the Chase.
