One day after securing the commitment of the state's top prep player, the University of Minnesota men's basketball team reeled in another big recruit.

Eric Curry, a three-star forward from Little Rock, Ark., committed to the Gophers on Wednesday, according to the Star Tribune. The news comes less than two days after the announcement that Amir Coffey, the top-ranked player in Minnesota, would join Richard Pitino's squad in 2016.

Curry is a 6-foot-7 stretch forward who attends Southwest Christian Academy. His others offers included Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Saint Louis, SMU and VCU.
