SAN ANTONIO (AP) Trent Brittain threw for 133 yards and one touchdown and ran for another to lead Incarnate Word to a 20-10 victory over Nicholls on Saturday.

The Incarnate Word secondary set a school record, picking off four passes to thwart the Colonels in Southland Conference play. Adrian Norwood stole two and Robert Johnson and Darrius Montgomery grabbed one apiece.

Nicholls was ahead 10-7 at the half, but a 49-yard Ramon Coto field goal with 8:43 remaining in the third tied the score and Cody Seidel booted a 25-yard field goal for a 13-10 lead with 13:13 remaining in the game. Brittain sealed the win when he led Incarnate Word (2-1, 1-1 Southland Conference) 68 yards on eight plays and took the ball in from the four with 1:18 left.

Junior Sessions rushed for 69 yards and Broderick Reeves gained 66.

Tuskani Figaro threw for 113 yards and one touchdown for Nicholls (0-2. 0-1)).
