While appearing on The Late Late Show on Wednesday night, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh told host James Corden he's recovered from the bloods clots in his lungs that forced him to miss the second half of last season and is ready to go for this season.

"I'm ready to play," Bosh said. "I've been healthy. It's been a great summer."

Bosh, who suffered from a pulmonary embolism in his left lung, said it was a "slow-building process."

The Heat open the 2015 -- 16 season against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 28.
