Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart's days of controversy are far behind him, but Stevie Clark, a former teammate at Oklahoma State University, is dragging them back into the spotlight.

Clark filed a lawsuit against Oklahoma State and its head men's basketball coach Travis Ford, per Tulsa World. In the suit, Clark mentions Smart, and has nothing nice to say.

Smart notoriously struck a Texas Tech fan during a game in 2014, but outside of a few on-court incidents where Smart let his physical playing style cross the line, since entering the NBA he's been a model citizen.

The Celtics view him as a franchise player and someone who sets the tone both on and off the floor. He works hard and could become one of Boston's best players this season.
