Two of the top 15 fighters in the women's strawweight division are set to do battle at UFC 194 as Tecia Torres faces 'The Karate Hottie' Michelle Waterson on December 12 in Las Vegas.

UFC officials announced the new pairing on Monday.

Coming off her season of 'The Ultimate Fighter', Torres remains one of the most dangerous fighters in the world at 115 pounds.

Ranked No. 5 at strawweight, Torres has defeated former housemates Angela Magana and Angela Hill in consecutive fights, but now she will finally venture away from her reality TV show competition to face a rising star in 'The Karate Hottie'.

Waterson was a high value addition to the weight class by the UFC earlier this year as the former Invicta FC champion finally made her Octagon debut in July.

Waterson submitted Angela Magana by third-round rear naked choke to get her first UFC win and now she'll face a top five ranked opponent for her second bout.

Torres vs. Waterson joins a stacked UFC 194 fight card headlined by featherweight champions Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor unifying the title as well as middleweight king Chris Weidman putting his belt on the line against Luke Rockhold.
