By now, Hanley Ramirez' struggles in the outfield have been well documented.

Having transitioned from the infield to the awkward dimensions of Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox's plan hasn't played out as planned.

According to the Boston Herald, the team has "had some discussions" about Rusney Castillo getting some innings in left field.

"There's a chance we could do that," Lovullo said. "Any time you give your outfielders versatility that they can have moving around from spot to spot, you just get more information on them. The more information, the better. I wouldn't be surprised if he played there at some point before the season is over. Stay tuned."

The Sox don't seem to be giving up on Hanley in the outfield, but it does look like they are preparing for a change in the future.
