PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) The National Women's Soccer League will hold its championship match at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon.
In the league's first two seasons, the championship match was hosted by the higher-seeded team. Commissioner Jeff Plush said Monday the league's owners decided before the season to move the championship to a predetermined location.
The Oct. 1 championship will be televised by FOX Sports 1.
