Normally, a former closer-turned-broadcaster wouldn't inspire a 25-year-old Boston Red Sox outfielder. However, in Jackie Bradley Jr.'s case, it's the exact opposite.

Bradley Jr. tweeted out a picture of the two thanking Dennis Eckersley (and others) for telling him everything he can't do.

The Red Sox centerfielder has hits in three of his last four games, but is only hitting .148 on the season. He is widely regarded as the top defensive outfielder in the league, though.
