Henry Owens, the Boston Red Sox top pitching prospect, will make his Major League debut on Tuesday against the New York Yankees.
It might be a risky move, having a guy make his debut at Yankee Stadium against a first-place team, but John Farrell wanted to keep his guys on schedule.
"Yeah, it's going to be probably the biggest stage that he's going to make his debut on -- that the schedule has it," Farrell told MassLive. "But ideally having another lefthander go against that lineup in that ballpark. So we'll see him on Tuesday."
