Los Angeles Angels left-hander C.J. Wilson fears his season could be over because of the elbow injury that landed him on the 15-day disabled list Friday.

Wilson says that he has had fluid drained from his pitching elbow four times this year and probably will have surgery to remove bone spurs, according to MLB.com.

The lefty allowed six earned runs on six hits and three walks in only four innings in his most recent start --€“ a loss to the AL West-leading Astros on Tuesday.

In 21 starts this season, he is 8-8 with a 3.89 ERA.

The Angels begin play Saturday two games behind the AL West-leading Houston Astros, but leading the AL wild-card race.
