Stevan Jovetic criticized Manuel Pellegrini for not giving him a fair opportunity after the Montenegrin left Manchester City to join Inter.

In two seasons under Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium, Jovetic started just 11 league games, although that was partly due to persistent injury problems.

On Friday, the Montenegro international completed a loan move to Inter, with a view to making the switch permanent, and has aired his grievances at how he was treated by Pellegrini.

"I had problems at Manchester City, but I wasn't the only one," Jovetic told Mediaset. "Even when I was in good shape, the coach never let me play.

"In any case, I don't want to talk about City. I wish them all the best. In Serie A, Juventus remain our strongest rivals, but we hope to beat them. I am very happy to become part of Inter and hope that this year we can get back to where we belong. I am here to win, we have a good team and we can do it."
