The Indianapolis Colts released offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus on Sunday.
Cherilus, a seven-year veteran, was signed by Indianapolis as an unrestricted free agent in 2013.
Cherilus was placed on the team's injured reserve last December with a groin injury. Cherilus underwent a knee procedure this offseason.
Colts paid Gosder Cherilus $16.5m over two years. The remaining $18.5 million from 2015-17 was non-guaranteed money, FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Mike Garafolo reported.
During his two seasons with Colts, Cherilus started in all 29 games. Cherilus started 100 of 104 career games.
