Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Texans have signed defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick, who played last season with the New Orleans Saints.

Deaderick, 27, appeared in 13 games for the Saints last season, making eight tackles. He has 62 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks in five seasons with New England, Jacksonville and New Orleans.

The Texans also signed undrafted rookie defensive end Jasper Coleman, who played for William & Mary. They released Mack Brown, a running back from Florida who was signed May 11 after a tryout in rookie minicamp.
