Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Jay Myers shot a 4-under 68 in Saturday's third round and the American grabbed a 1-shot lead at the season- opening PC Financial Open.

In his second season on tour, Myers is seeking his first career victory. He finished 54 holes at 10-under-par 206. Myers missed the cut at this event last year.

Bryn Parry, who had a 4-shot lead after two rounds, struggled to a 3-over 75 at Point Grey Golf and Country Club, but he is still within one shot and tied for second at 9-under 207. He is tied with Drew Weaver (66), Ty Dunlap (68) and Adam Svensson (68).

Riley Wheeldon (66), Kevin Vanden Heuvel (70) and Logan McCracken (71) are one shot further back and tied for sixth at minus-8.

Myers did not start his round off well with a bogey on No. 2, but that was the last dropped shot he had.

Three holes later he drained a birdie on No. 5 and then ripped off five straight pars from No. 6.

Myers then ran off four straight birdies from No. 11, which pushed him all the way up to minus-10. He ended there after finishing up with four pars from 15.

NOTES: Myers' best finish on tour was a tie for fifth at The Players Cup last season. He had two top-10s in 2014.
