Braun, McCutchen share NL weekly honors

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Ryan Braun and Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen were named co-winners of the National League Player of the Week award on Tuesday.

Braun led the majors with 11 RBI last week and tied for the NL lead with three home runs. He hit .381 with five walks and posted the league's second-highest slugging percentage (.952) and on-base percentage (.481).

McCutchen batted .450 with three homers and five RBI while leading the majors with a .542 on-base percentage. He paced the league with a 1.000 slugging percentage.
