Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated shortstop Jose Reyes from the 15-day disabled list prior to Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Reyes was placed on the disabled list with a fractured left rib on April 28. He appeared in three games on a medical rehabilitation assignment with Triple- A Buffalo and batted .364 with two RBI.
In 16 games this season, Reyes is batting .250 with seven runs batted in and six runs scored.
To make room on the roster, the Blue Jays optioned infielder Munenori Kawasaki to Buffalo.
