Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Yasmani Grandal hit two three-run homers and had a career-high eight RBI, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 14-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

Grandal's homers in the eighth and ninth innings came during a 13-hit attack that helped Los Angeles split the four-game series. He finished with four hits.

"He looks good right now," said Dodgers manager Don Mattingly.

Alex Guerrero added a solo homer for the Dodgers, who have won six of their last eight.

It was plenty of offense for right-hander Carlos Frias, who struck out six in his second start of the season. Frias (3-0) gave up three runs, six hits and a walk in five innings.

Adam Lind homered and Gerardo Parra added an RBI hit for the Brewers, who fell to 2-2 under new manager Craig Counsell.

Milwaukee starter Mike Fiers (1-4) had an "immaculate inning" in the fourth -- striking out Enrique Hernandez, Frias and Joc Pederson on nine pitches.

But he was lifted after surrendering a walk to Guerrero and an RBI triple to Andre Ethier with no outs in the sixth, which gave the Dodgers a 4-3 lead.

The Dodgers scored three more runs in the inning on Juan Uribe's single and Grandal's two-run hit. They pushed their lead to 10-4 on Grandal's three-run blast in the eighth off Rob Wooten.

Ryan Braun singled in the bottom of the eighth for Milwaukee and later scored on Gerardo Parra's sacrifice fly.

Grandal homered off Jonathan Broxton to highlight a four-run ninth inning. The 26-year-old catcher, who was hitting .179 on May 1, raised his batting average from .261 to .301 on Thursday.

"He probably came in not where he wanted to be, but I think we saw all series that he was pretty locked in," said Counsell.

Adam Lind hit an RBI single in the first inning for Milwaukee. Guerrero hit a long home run in the second, his sixth of the season, and the Dodgers took a 3-1 lead on Adrian Gonzalez's two-run single in the third.

Lind began the home fourth with his sixth home run of the season and after Aramis Ramirez doubled, Parra singled to center which brought in Ramirez to tie the score again.
